Bhutan Cultural Trek
Join us in Bhutan for our all new cultural trek into the best of Bhutan. This trip spends several days in the Paro/Thimphu area visiting the local monastery and markets. We then spend the next 7 days trekking in the mountains. A beautiful lower altitude trek through lush Rhododendrons to our high point at 13,600 ft. After a couple days exploring the alpine lakes we trek back through Jadula to Thimphu. This fascinating country has been closed to western tourists for a long time; this has preserved the culture and customs of the local people more than in Nepal and Tibet. Only recently has the government allowed limited western tourism. Our trips visit the very best of Bhutan in only 10 days.
