Explore Borneo
A more exotic destination than the remote, isolated Island of Borneo is hard to imagine. Visiting the Northern region Known as Sabah and starting our trip in the frontier town of Kota Kinabalu as our base. We will explore the highlands of Mt. Kinabalu, climb to its summit at 13,455 ft. utilizing the excellent hut system. Then visit the Pouring Hot Springs area before traveling across the Island to see the Sepilok Orangutan Reserve. We use private transportation and excellent accommodations along the way. From Sandakan we proceed up the Kinabatangan River for a stay in the jungle to watch the Proboscis monkeys. An overnight visit to Turtle Island National Park and an opportunity to see the Hawksbill turtles laying eggs, in a ranger controlled environment. We end up back in Kota Kinabalu at the beach near where the first "Survivor" series was filmed! Experience the best of Borneo! 12 Days.
