Explore Costa Rica
One of the most interesting countries in the world for the active adventure traveler. Meeting in Historic San Jose, our trip combines a series of excellent shorter treks into the National Parks of Costa Rica from the Caribbean to the Pacific. Spectacular waterfalls, hot springs, and ocean swims are all part of our Costa Rica program. We will visit the highlands of Volcano Arenal and Monte Verde Reserve, then several parks along the Pacific, including Parque Manuel Antonio and Santa Rosa. On the Caribbean side we visit Parque Nacional Cahuita. Seeing many of the animals of Costa Rica along the way including the Cotamundi (giant Iguanas), Howler Monkeys, Parrots and Toucans. We will enjoy lots of exploring in a variety of different environments, spending each evening in nice lodges.
