Trekking in East Greenland
Two weeks crossing the fiords and glaciers of East Greenland by way of a rugged trek across the backcountry. Spectacular scenery above iceberg chocked fiords, brilliant green tundra, with glacier and river crossings highlight this trip in a very remote environment. There is a new hut we plan to use for part of the trip, then cross a peninsula to meet our ride out. Optional helicopter support increases the range of opportunities. Normally we access the start and end of this trek by small boat, when the fiords are clear of icebergs. Pure adventure at each stage of this trekking expedition!
