Explore Morocco, The Atlas Mountains and Sahara. See the best of Morocco. We travel from Casablanca to Marrakech for an interesting look into the markets and culture of the people of Morocco. Following Marrakech we start our trek into the Atlas Mountains and up Jebel Toubkal to 13,671 ft., the highest point. The High Atlas Mountains, home for the Berber culture, offer a dramatic contrast to the surrounding desert and Toreg people to the south and east. An overnight camel trek is planned into the dunes of the Sahara desert near Zagora and Erfoud. A country of fascinating contrasts, from the Atlas Mountains to the Sahara Desert!
