Baruntse Climbing Expedition

Join our expedition on the south ridge of Baruntse in the Khumbu region of Nepal. An excellent ridge route to over 23,687 ft.; yet relatively moderate technical route to high altitude. This is the perfect first major Himalayan climb for anyone wanting to move onto 8000-meter expeditions or go beyond the trekking peaks. Develop high altitude expedition experience on this remarkable peak across the glacier from the Lhotse/Everest and Makalu groups. Our trek starts in Lukla, traveling over the Mera La into our base camp in the upper Hongu Valley. Both the approach and trek out travel through a beautiful, remote and uncrowded area of Nepal.
