New Trip for 2005!
Everest Camps 2, 3 or 4 (South Col) Expeditions
We will be leading expeditions to Everest Camps 2, 3 and 4. This is a rare opportunity to experience Everest without the "Death Zone" up extremely high. This trip will be run concurrently with our Everest 2005 Expedition. This will be focused on getting into Camp 2 in the Western Cwm, Camp 3 on the Lhotse Face or all the way to the outh Col and a bit beyond to reach 8000 meters. This is a perfect route to train for higher Himalayan Peaks on or to test yourself on Everest itself. A way to get into the Western Cwm on Everest and experience the magic and history of this unique place. The lower route will go through the famous Khumbu Icefall. If your goals are only to reach Camp 2 on Everest, we plan a less expensive program to get up to Camp 2 only. The Camp 2 trip is done with a Nuptse Permit, the Camp 3 and 4 trips are done with a Lhotse permits. You have the option to continue to either Lhotse or Nuptse summits while there or we offer a slightly less costly trips just to these camps without the O2 to go higher. Everyone had a great time on this program last year and we look forward to doing these expeditions again in 2005. Call for more details!
