Hinku and Khumbu Trek, Mera and Island Peaks

An extended trek through the Khumba region, including climbs of two trekking peaks. We approach Mera Peak from Lukla via the Hinku Valley. Climbing this 21,247 ft. summit after we cross the high Mera La pass. Mera Peak is one of Nepal’s highest "trekking Peaks". After the climb, we enter the remote Hongu Valley, trekking below Baruntse to Panch Pokhari. We cross the very high and technical 18,963 ft. Amphu Labsta pass that takes us into the upper Chukung Valley across the Imja Glacier to Island Peak. After climbing Island Peak, we continue our trek through the Khumbu visiting Everest Base Camp and if time permits, crossing the Cho La Pass to the Gokyo Valley. One of the best climbing treks in the Khumbu region.
